Campers in middle school and high school expand their bodies and spirits through adventures rooted in Christian love during Mid High Adventure. At adventure camp campers learn, explore, and grow in faith as they experience God’s love through the beauty of creation and the relationships they build with new friends and caring mentors on challenging adventures together.
Adventures such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking, sleeping under the stars, team building on the challenge course, and Suttle Lake Camp’s onsite activities aren’t just fun, but help campers learn skills and values like patience, flexibility, perseverance, compassion, and courage.
Please note: Campers registering for this event should be physically and mentally prepared for adventure activities. Activities like rock climbing and whitewater rafting include risk. These trips are done in cooperation with professional guide services and are designed to help 12-16 years try these adventure activities in a carefully selected location appropriate to this age group. An additional waiver will be required by the guide services selected. These forms will be available at registration and emailed to parents/guardians before camp. To participate in these activities campers must be able to listen and follow directions. Campers must be able to wear the safety gear provided (PFD and helmet for rafting / climbing harness and helmet for rock climbing). Both activities require physical mobility and the ability to grasp. If you have questions or concerns about your camper ability to participate in these adventure activities please contact the camp directly (some accommodations may be possible).
